The FRCOphth Part 2 Oral is notoriously challenging and structured differently from written exams. Generic revision often doesn’t translate into success in the OSCE. High-quality, one-to-one practice is essential to master OSCE and VIVA technique. Our coaching is the only well-established resource offering dedicated 1:1 sessions, providing exam-ready frameworks, realistic examiner-style questioning and live, targeted feedback. Eye Academy aims to arm candidates with the skills and confidence required to maximise their chances of passing this exit exam.

What you get

  • Pre-session scoping: You can tailor your session to your needs using our booking form

  • Live, realistic oral practice: Covering clinical stations across major subspecialties that have appeared in past sittings

  • Delivered by our expert registrar: our coach, Miss Ayesha Karimi, passed her November 2025 sitting and has a proven track record delivering group sessions for her peers. She will share her insights with you during your session.

  • Detailed feedback: Structure & signposting, depth of clinical reasoning, time management, examiner expectations and pass criteria

Who it’s ideal for

  • Those sitting the FRCOphth Part 2 Oral exam who want an efficient, high-yield session

  • Those who have completed core revision but need presentation fluency; some theory can be covered as per your needs

  • Candidates who have attempted the exam previously, or those who have not yet sat the exam but want an honest representation of what it entails

  • Those wanting examiner-style questioning and stress conditioning, with frank and honest feedback
